On the first day of the new year's holiday,i went to my granny's house to eat reunion dinner,after that,we went to "Lao yu sheng "( a tradition that Chinese do).Then,i went home.the next day, I went to my granny's house and visit my relatives and friends.We went there by car and received a lot of ang paos.We visited our relatives and friends' house until about 11p.m.We went home and the same thing happened the next day.
Indians' tradition are totally different from Chinese.
On my trip to Little India, I learnt some traditions from the guide and had tried a food made of yogurt-'Thairu' and it's good for health but it is really sour. Little India is at Serangoon Road, named after the Rangung bird. Indians sells flower garlands for female to wear. During a wedding ceremony, the groom ties a 'thali' around the neck of his bride and she wears it as long as her husband is alive.
A kerbau is a buffalo.
Meals are served betel nuts leaves.
